The Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) is a financial aid program which supports part-time employment for students on Florida SouthWestern State College campuses. The program affords the College opportunities to improve its service by utilizing and improving upon the skills and talents of its student employees in areas which might not be fully developed. Jobs are available on-campus at a maximum of 20 hours per week. The current hourly rate of pay is $13.00 per hour.
- Students must complete the FAFSA every year to determine eligibility for FWS.
- Students earnings are based on their annual award amount for the academic year.
- Students must be currently enrolled, or planning to enroll in the next enrollment period.
- Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Student must have financial need.
- A work study award does not guarantee student employment.
