Peer Mentor

Real students, real support—because we’ve been there too

At Florida SouthWestern State College, the Peer Mentor Program is designed to ease the transition into college life and foster a sense of belonging.

Peer Mentors are experienced FSW students who build community, provide individualized attention, connect peers with important resources, and bridge the gap between home and the college experience. They create a welcoming environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Focused on making the transition seamless and engaging, the Peer Mentor Program helps students confidently navigate their first semester and beyond.
