Biography
Professor Taggart has over 30 years experience in social services working on behalf of children and adults with disabilities and individuals with mental illness in a variety of capacities, including case management, abuse and neglect investigation, mental health and behavior management consultation, program development, policy development, and advocacy on statewide subcommittees involving services to children and adults with mental health disorders and/or disabilities. Ms. Taggart has taught undergraduate psychology a combination of over 17 years at Camden County College and Middlesex County College in New Jersey; Florida SouthWestern State College in Florida. During that time period, Ms. Taggart taught a variety of courses: Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, Psychology of Women, Psychology of Death and Dying, Abnormal Psychology, Personality Psychology, Human Development, and Business and Industrial Psychology. As a Florida resident for over 13 years, Ms. Taggart enjoys the beauty of Southwest Florida. and pursues a variety of hobbies and interests with her family and friends.
Education (Degrees and Certifications)
MA School Psychology, Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ. Professor Taggart holds a Florida professional teaching certificate to teach Social Sciences 6-12, Special education K-12, and English 5-9. Professor Taggart has an active license in New Jersey as a certified social worker, which she has maintained since 1994.
