Biography
Dr. Alex A. Djahankhah is a highly accomplished IT operations and program management expert with over 16 years of leadership experience in the United States Marine Corps. With a robust blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership, Dr. Djahankhah has consistently delivered results in dynamic and mission-critical environments.
Dr. Alex Djahankhah is a dedicated United States Marine Corps officer with extensive leadership experience in communications and information operations across multiple commands. Most recently, from June 2022 to June 2024, he served as an Information Officer with the III MEF Information Group in Okinawa, Japan, integrating Marine Corps forces with space-based capabilities and safeguarding top-secret systems. In this high-visibility role, he identified adversary actions in the Pacific, conducted joint planning with allies, and maintained a strong ethical standard under pressure.
Before his work in Okinawa, Dr. Djahankhah served as a Communications Officer at MCAS Beaufort (June 2019–June 2022), leading a combined team of Marines, government employees, and contractors to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of military networks. He oversaw mission-critical initiatives such as the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP), upgrading hundreds of computers and dramatically increasing unit productivity. Earlier assignments included communications leadership roles at Marine Aircraft Group 13 (MCAS Yuma), Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force–Crisis Response–CENTCOM (Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait), and Marine Air Control Squadron–1 (MCAS Yuma). Across these positions, he consistently demonstrated strong decision-making, thorough planning, and a commitment to professional development, ensuring operational success in demanding environments.
Throughout his career, Dr. Djahankhah has demonstrated a passion for advancing technology, optimizing operations, and mentoring teams to achieve their fullest potential. A US Citizen with TS-SCI clearance and fluency in Spanish, he is uniquely positioned to lead in both technical and multinational environments.
