The Frank G. Daveler Entrepreneurship Institute at Florida SouthWestern State College received a generous donation of $1.9M from the Frank G. Daveler Foundation and is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of business leaders and innovators. We provide a comprehensive ecosystem designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to thrive in today's dynamic entrepreneurial landscape. Through our CCC in Business Entrepreneurship program, hands-on training in our cutting-edge Daveler Innovation Center, and mentorship from seasoned professionals, we offer a transformative educational experience. The Institute fosters a culture of creativity, resilience, and practical application, equipping students to launch successful ventures, drive innovation, and make a lasting impact on their communities.

The heart of the Frank G. Daveler Entrepreneurship Institute lies within our state-of-the-art Daveler Innovation Center. Degrees/ Certificates

Graduates of the Business Entrepreneurship: Side-Gig Business Development, CCC can apply credits toward the AS in Business Administration and Management or the AS in Entrepreneurship degrees at Florida SouthWestern State College. 

Program Information

Curriculum: The certificate program includes courses in Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Management, and Entrepreneurship Marketing and Sales. 

Duration: The Business Entrepreneurship/Side-Gig Business Development CCC consists of 9 credit hours and can be completed in 1 semester with full-time enrollment. The program is designed for both full-time and part-time students. Courses are offered in online and traditional formats to accommodate students’ varying schedules and learning preferences.

Prospective students should check FSW's Admission Portal for application guidelines and submit their application along with the necessary documents. Once accepted, you will be assigned an advisor who will help you register.
