Buccaneer Bound Summer Bridge Program

THE APPLICATION FOR BUCCANEER BOUND SUMMER 2024 IS NOW CLOSED.

Thank you for your interest in the program. Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting applications for the Summer 2024 semester. Please consider connecting with your academic advisor to discuss your path forward and register for your courses. If you haven't already, this would also be a good time to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), submit the FSW Scholarship Application, and learn about other available support resources. While you may not be able to participate in Buccaneer Bound for Summer 2024, we look forward to welcoming you as a new FSW Buccaneer in the upcoming semester!

What is Buccaneer Bound?

Buccaneer Bound is a 6-week summer bridge program designed for first-time-in-college students that provides a head start on your college education. Through a combination of academic coursework, personalized support, and access to college resources, participants gain the skills and network they need to thrive from day one at FSW. The program is completely funded by a $1,000 scholarship, just for you!

Program Benefits

  • ACCELERATED SUCCESS: Complete two courses during the Summer Mini-B term that go directly toward your graduation requirements.
  • NO OUT-OF-POCKET COST: Receive a $1,000 scholarship to cover the cost of tuition, fees, and books.
  • PERSONALIZED SUPPORT: Plan for your next semester with academic advising, priority registration, and financial aid workshops.
  • PEER NETWORK AND CAMPUS IMMERSION: Develop a support network with classmates while acquainting yourself with FSW’s culture, facilities, and resources
