Community Outreach

Engaging with local organizations to offer educational resources and support for broader access to education in the community, bridging barriers of access and resources (e.g., College for a Day program, presentations and workshops, relationship building, etc.)

College for a Day Program

Student Transitions invites local community organizations to participate in our College for a Day program. This unique initiative offers your students or participants a valuable opportunity to experience campus life firsthand. By attending workshops, participating in activities and events, and learning about available student resources and support, they will gain insights that can help remove barriers to success and expand educational access.

Why Participate?

  • Prepare for the Future: Equip your students with the knowledge and confidence they need to take their next steps in both their personal and professional lives.
  • Build Connections: Foster meaningful relationships with current college students, faculty, and staff.
  • Access Resources and Support Services: Learn about essential resources and support systems that will aid in academic and personal success.
  • Enhance Readiness: Give your students a head start in understanding the college environment and expectations.

By participating in College for a Day, your organization will play a pivotal role in inspiring and preparing the next generation for higher education. Let’s work together to support our students' dreams and aspirations.
