The Open Door Grant is a funding opportunity offered by Florida SouthWestern State College through the Florida Department of Education for workforce education programs. Open Door is designed to help students earn workforce degrees and certificates for high-demand industry jobs. Students interested in this potential funding opportunity must be enrolled in one of the below listed eligible programs of study, and meet the funding criteria.
Grant funds are limited, and not all students who apply will be awarded. Funding is determined by a committee and applicants may apply every semester. This opportunity offers students a stipend to cover other expenses related to the institutional cost of attendance. The grant amount awarded is based on the total credit hours enrolled in fundable program.

- Florida Resident for tuition purposes.
