Edison to host League of Women Voters candidate forum

PUNTA GORDA – Charlotte County’s League of Women Voters, in partnership with the Student Government Association of Edison State College Charlotte Campus, will host a candidates forum at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21 in the Edison auditorium.
The forum is free to the public and moderated by Edison State College Charlotte Campus President Dr. Patricia Land. Pros and cons of proposed Florida Constitutional Amendments will be addressed by candidates for County Commission, Districts 2 and 4; State Representatives, Districts 71 and 72; State Senate, District 27; and U.S. Congress, District 16.
