Professor Marty Ambrose of Edison State College will be among five authors on ‘Gulf Coast Live”, airing Wednesday, June 16th. Each author will be reading part of an essay that he or she contributed to the book, UNSPOILED, a collection of compositions from 38 writers, scientists and students on the subject of the Florida Coast. The book will be available at local bookstores and will be promoted throughout the state during Fall, 2010.
Promos for the book explain: “We Floridians love our sandy beaches. How could it possibly be worth damaging the health of Florida’s number- one economic engine- our coasts- for short term gain promised by Big Oil?”
Professor Ambrose is the author of the Mango Bay Mystery Series, published by Avalon books. Peril in Paradise was published in March 2009 and was quickly followed by Island Intrigue in 2010. Ambrose is currently working on the third book in the series.
Professor Ambrose is an English Professor at Edison State College, where she teaches Creative Writing. Tune into “Gulf Coast Live” on Wednesday, June 16th!
