Academic Success Center Open House

The Charlotte Campus Academic Success Center will hold an Open House Tuesday, January 12 at 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.  Stop by, take a tour, get information and enjoy light refreshments.  The Center is located in B101 (the same building as the library) and provides “one stop shopping” for many college learning support resources such as help with selecting a major or a career, developing better study or test taking skills and help with math, writing, or College Prep courses. 

Find out more about the Peer Tutoring Program as well as the requirements for becoming a Peer Tutor. There are opportunities for one-on-one tutoring and for drop-in tutoring sessions with professional tutors.  During the tour, learn where students can complete College Prep Lab hours as well as get individual help in the Reading, Writing and Math Labs with convenient hours for busy schedules. Study better on your own? The Center has a well-stocked library of student success subject matter DVD’s to view. Special individual and group workshops are held throughout the semester on relevant and timely topics.
