Edison State College Named Fastest Growing in Florida- 12th in the Nation

Edison State College was recently named the fastest growing public two-year college in the state and the 12th fastest growing in the nation, for schools with an enrollment of 10,000 + students, according to an annual analysis by Community College Week magazine (Published Dec. 9, 2009). This is the second year in a row that Edison State has been designated fastest growing in Florida.
Edison State College grew by 14.4% from Fall 2007 to Fall 2008. Currently, Edison State serves more than 20,000 students on all campuses (Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties) including a center serving students in Hendry/Glades, Edison Online, and Continuing Education department. The institution offers both two and four-year degrees.

Edison State College is Southwest Florida’s largest, most established, most accessible and most affordable school of higher education serving more than 20,000 students in 5 counties with campuses in Lee, Collier and Charlotte, and a center serving Hendry/Glades.
