Introducing ARTS Edison

Discover ARTS Edison. ARTS Edison is the latest edition to the world class offerings at Edison State College.  From the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, to the only gallery outside of New York City’s Guggenheim to bear the name of the great Bob Rauschenberg, Arts Edison is a hub of artistic inspiration right here in Southwest Florida.

Discover, learn, participate and enjoy our many art exhibits. Explore the one- of- a –kind events and films offered during the Black Maria Film Festival, find who is performing this year at the POPS Concert, or take one of our new Arts Academy courses. Take a break and enjoy the koi pond in the Mary Jo Sanders Garden of Inspiration , or step inside our brand new Richard H. Rush Library and visit the Special Collections Gallery from the Sanders and Rush families.

 

To further our commitment to the Arts in our community, Edison State is proud to introduce the Arts Academy. A division of the Continuing Education Department, the Arts Academy offers a broad selection of courses designed for the art enthusiast. Courses include method acting, music, jewelry design and metalsmithing, sculpting, glassworks, and darkroom photography, to name a few. Arts Academy instructors bring local, national and international experience to the classrooms at Edison State College, Lee Campus. Discover your creativity at Edison State’s Arts Academy.
