AmeriCorps Fair - May 12-14

The third annual AmeriCorps Week takes place May 9-16, which is happening just after the passage of the Kennedy Serve America Act. President Obama is asking Americans to step up to serve their country and providing many channels of service to perform this service.
Help strengthen our community by joining the efforts of the many civic and non-profit volunteers in Charlotte County. AmeriCorps, Good Friends, RSVP, and Habitat for Humanity are just a few of the organizations that are tackling the tough problems in our area - illiteracy, poverty, and housing.
