Jazz Ensemble kicks off Edison State's Fall Concert Series

Showcasing outstanding local talent, the Edison State Fall Concert Series kicks off on Monday, November 17, 8:00 PM, at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall with a performance by the Edison State College Jazz Ensemble.
The Concert Series continues on Thursday, November 20, with the Edison State College Concert Band and culminates on Monday, November 24, with a performance by the Edison State College Orchestra & Choir. All performances begin at 8:00 PM and are held at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, located on the Lee Campus.
Under the direction of Edison State's new Music Director, Dr. Thomas Smith, the Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band and Orchestra are composed of a unique combination of Edison State students, faculty and community members.
"This rich composition of students, faculty and veteran musicians from the community allows for tremendous learning and offers the local community the opportunity to enjoy and experience exceptional musical performances," said Smith.
Admission to all three concerts is free, but tickets are required for each performance. Tickets can be picked up at the Mann Hall Box Office during regular business hours: 10 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays.
