Parfitt to Speak at NaBITA Conference

Florida SouthWestern State College’s (FSW) Director of Public Safety, Rick Parfitt, will be speaking during the National Behavior Intervention Team Association (NaBITA) Conference in November in San Antonio, Texas. Parfitt will present “Marketing Safety on Campus: What’s Important to Know and How to Get This Information to Our Community.”
“In addition to the community policing we do and sessions we host to educate our students, faculty and staff about campus safety, it’s also important to effectively communicate internally and externally,” said Parfitt.
He most recently presented during the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Marketing and Communications Commission’s The Great 28 Conference held in July at FSW.
