James & Barbara Moore Observatory at FSW Opens for 2017-2018 Season

AUGUST 29, 2017 – PUNTA GORDA, FLA – The James & Barbara Moore Observatory located on the Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) Charlotte Campus, 26300 Airport Road, Punta Gorda, opens for the 2017-2018 season on Friday, Sept. 15. Observation sessions are held on the third Friday of each month and begin 30-45 minutes after dark, outdoors and weather permitting. Sessions are free and open to the public.
