Wasmer to Serve on FSW Foundation Investment Committee

Martin Wasmer, Principal/Chief Executive Officer of Wasmer, Schroeder & Company (WSC), has accepted an appointment to the Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) Foundation’s Investment Committee.

“The committee was established to ensure that the Foundation’s endowment and its funds are invested for optimal long-term return,” explained Dr. Lou Traina, Vice President of Institutional Advancement for FSW and Executive Director of the FSW Foundation. “We are privileged to have Marty Wasmer, an esteemed expert in Collier County, serving on the committee.”

Mr. Wasmer founded WSC in 1987; an investment advisory firm providing investment advice and portfolio management services on fixed income securities.  With a 30-year history in the fixed income market, WSC has become one of the premier investment advisors in fixed income portfolio management for over 100 wealth management platforms across the country.

Mr. Wasmer holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Miami. Besides serving on the FSW Foundation’s Investment Committee, Marty is also a board member of Professional Givers Anonymous of Collier County, the Alzheimer’s Support Network and serves on the finance committees of the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens and Seacrest Country Day School. He formerly served as treasurer for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and on the finance committees for both the Conservancy and Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples.
