See a Total Eclipse of the Moon at Florida SouthWestern State College Observatory

Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) invites the public to visit The Moore Observatory on the Charlotte Campus of FSW on September 27 to view the total eclipse of the moon. This event will take place from 8pm to 12am on Sunday, September 27. This event is free, and no registration is needed to attend.
“During the eclipse, the full moon will move into the shadow of the Earth,” said Dave Hanson, Coordinator for The Moore Observatory at FSW. “We enjoy being able to share the observatory with our community, and look forward to inviting the public to our regular openings that will take place each month from now until May.”
