Edison College to Host Three Commencement Ceremonies

Lee Campus Celebrates First Baccalaureate Graduates
Edison College will hold three commencement ceremonies within its five-county service district on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3.
Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott, an Edison College alumnus, will address the graduates at the Lee Campus ceremony on Friday, May 2, including the first graduates of the College's Public Safety Management bachelor's degree program. Ceremonies will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall on the Lee Campus, 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers. Grand Marshal Dr. Dennis Hill will carry the Edison Mace and lead the procession for his final year, as he is retiring after 32 years as Professor of Music.
Edison's Collier Campus will hold its ceremony on Friday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Pavilion at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples. City of Naples Mayor Bill Barnett will be the commencement speaker. Grand Marshal Professor Linda Weinland will carry the Edison Mace and lead the procession.
The Charlotte Campus ceremony will be held at the Center for Performing Arts and Education located at 701 Carmalita Street, Punta Gorda, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3. The commencement speaker will be Cecy Glenn, CEO, United Way of Charlotte County. Grand Marshal Dr. Lyman O'Neal will carry the Edison College Mace and lead the procession.
