Men's Hoops Announces 2015 FSW Camps

Marty Richter, the Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) head men's basketball coach, has announced the dates for the program’s 2015 Summer Basketball Camp that will be held at the Lee County Parks & Recreation Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center.
The camps are open to youth males that will be entering grades 4-12. Enrollment is limited due to space constraints and pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Time: 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Eligible Participants: Youth males, entering grades 4- 12

Cost: $100 per camper (sibling discounts are available)

Skill Development Camp
FSW "Buc"kets' camps are each created with the specific interest of bettering the player and bettering a team. The skill development camp will focus on developing individual player skills in shooting, ball handling, footwork and passing. Players of all talent level are welcome to attend in order to prepare themselves for team tryouts, gain greater skills to advance a team that they already participant on or simply enhance their athletic prowess.
This camp will be rigorous, composed of college and professional drills performed at high intensity level. Players will learn to perform the skills taught in highly competitive environments.
Specific areas of emphasis:
- Attack moves off the bounce
- Finishing moves
- Jab step moves
- Footwork into shot
- Setting and using screens
- Passing and receiving
- Shooting instruction
- Competitive shooting drills
