Research shows students that work cooperatively with their parents have higher academic achievement,” explained Mary Robertson, Professor of Mathematics Education at Florida SouthWestern State College, and the event organizer. Robertson is an expert in the field. She has been a Mathematics teacher for the past 31 years, having taught at the middle school, high school, and college level.
