ECHS Charlotte Students Offer Tech Assistance Workshops

The National Honor Society club at Edison Collegiate High School Charlotte will host multiple “Tech Workshops” focused on assisting people with basic usage of their smart phones, cameras and computers. Individuals who want to learn more about their electronic devices, or are having problems with them, are invited to attend one of the workshops to ask questions and learn new and efficient ways to use their device. Workshops will take place:
- March 28: 4-7 PM, at ECHS Charlotte in Punta Gorda located at 26300 Airport Rd.
- March 29: 12-4 PM, at Moose Lodge 2121 in Port Charlotte located at 3462 Loveland Blvd.
- April 17: 4-7 PM, at ECHS Charlotte in Punta Gorda located at 26300 Airport Rd.
- April 19: 12-4 PM, at Moose Lodge 2121 in Port Charlotte located at 3462 Loveland Blvd.
“Technology changes so quickly these days, and everyone has a different smart phone, computer or tablet,” said Blake Schmidt, ECHS Science Teacher. “Our Honor students want to give back to their community and they all have great knowledge on the ins and outs of these devices.”
Individuals are invited to bring iPhones, iPads, iPods, Androids, Computers (excluding Windows 8), basic cameras, tablets and even older phones to a workshop, and the students will do their best to solve any issues, and provide tips for more efficient ways to utilize their specific device.
