Edison College Welcomes High School Seniors with 'Go Higher - Get Accepted'
Feb 8, 2008
Studies show that education beyond high school pays lifelong dividends, including higher wages, better job opportunities and advancement, and higher lifetime earning potential. To help graduating high school seniors make the transition to college, Edison College will host 'Go Higher - Get Accepted,' on the Lee campus in Fort Myers on Monday, February 18, from 1 until 7 p.m. Students will be able to visit the campus, explore career options, and apply to Edison.
The event will offer seniors hands-on assistance to assess their academic and occupational interests, and determine the type of degree needed to achieve their career goals. Students may meet with academic advisers, financial aid and scholarship specialists, and student development representatives. Application fees will be waived for high school seniors who complete an admission form during the event. Additionally, tours of the campus will be conducted.
