This free event is open to anyone interested in attending, but students are encouraged to register at familymathnight@edison.edu.  This event will take place in building U, room 102 on the Fort Myers Campus.

“Learning mathematics successfully requires a joint effort between home and school. Research shows students that work cooperatively with their parents have higher academic achievement,” explained Mary Robertson, Professor of Mathematics Education at Edison State College, and the event organizer.  Robertson is an expert in the field. She has been a Mathematics teacher for the past 29 years, having taught at the middle school, high school, and college level.
