Dr. Robert Jones Appointed to Leadership Collier Foundation Board of Directors

AUGUST 19, 2013 – NAPLES, FLA –Dr. Robert Jones, Edison State College, Collier Campus President/Regional Vice President for Economic and Community Development, was recently appointed to serve on the Leadership Collier Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Jones joined the board following his completion of the 2013 Leadership Collier program.
“After completing the Leadership Collier program, I feel a great responsibility to engage fully in Naples to communicate what is growing and changing at the college,” Dr. Jones said. “Serving on this board will be a valuable tool for identifying the needs of the Collier community, for matching those needs with what we offer at Edison State College, and for developing new ways for the college to serve our Collier County residents.”
About the Leadership Collier Foundation: The Leadership Collier Foundation (LCF), in coordination with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, educates local business leaders about the societal and economic challenges facing the community today through the programs it governs: Leadership Collier™, Growing Associates In Naples™ (GAIN™), The Leadership Institute™, Youth Leadership Collier™ and The Campaign for Leadership™. Through the work of the LCF Alumni Association™, graduates continue to build alliances, foster goodwill and civic trusteeship that will strengthen Collier County through nonprofit organizations, local government boards and our schools while enhancing relations with other like-minded, influential community leaders.
The mission of the LCF is to build a broad-based network of community leaders who enhance their leadership abilities and skills through continuing education, shared perspectives and community involvement in order to enable them to work toward solutions in the public interest.
The 35-member Board of the LCF, a 501(c) 3 corporation, sets policy for all of leadership programs hosted by LCF.
