Norman Love Partners with Edison State College to Support Veterans
Jun 27, 2012
Norman Love, an award-winning confectioner, is releasing his American Love collection today. Available now through July 31, each five-piece box contains patriotic gourmet chocolates that are all new and created specifically for the collection. Featured flavors include Cherry Pie, Malted Milkshake, Peanut Butter and Honey, Sparkler and Cookie Dough. This special box of chocolates is available for $13.50.
Love is donating $1 from the sale of each box to support student veterans groups at Edison State College. More than 600 veterans attend school at all four Edison State College campuses in Fort Myers, Naples, Punta Gorda and La Belle.
“This is such a great boost to our organization,” said Tim Tyler, president of The Armed Servicemen Continuing Education Organization at Edison State College. Tyler expects many veterans to return to school in the next couple of years and knows most will struggle with educational costs. “We're so grateful for Norman and his efforts to help veterans. All of the donations will go directly into a scholarship fund for veterans.”
It’s a sweet partnership for Love, who is proud of his country and its veterans. ‘Nothing is more important than education,” Love said. “We are honored to help our veterans move forward in their lives after serving our country.”
The chocolates will be sold at Norman Love Confections in Fort Myers and Naples. You can also purchase the chocolates online at NormanLoveConfections.com. Call Norman Love Confections in Fort Myers at 239-561-7215 or the Naples store at 239-687-7215.
